Season opening of classic cars rally club

The season of classic car rallys was officially opened. The first race started from in square.

Racers drove around Moscow passing a checkpoint at Stoleshnikov sidestreet before finishing at Tverskoy boulevard.

First place was awarded to rally masters Alexander Safronov and Kirill Kirillov (Moskvitch-412 from London-Mexico' 70 rally), second place - Pavel and Olga Pankovsky (Chevrolet Corvette C2, 1966), and third place - Oleg Dikusar and Eugene Soroka (VW Beetle, 1973).

A special prize ws awarded to Andrew Pankovsky and Alexandra Shastina as their classic vehicle was manufactured before 1945. The Lagonda LG-45 (1936) was a sight to behold.
