Indonesia sends aid to Typhoon Haiyan victims in the Philippines
The Indonesian government is to send aid to the Philippines which was hit by Typhoon Haiyan. The grant is worth $ 2 million in cash and goods,transported with the help of Hercules and transit in Manado.
Three C-130 Hercules aircraft owned by the Air Force that the Indonesian government to bring aid to typhoon victims in the Philippines Haiyan transit in Samratulangi Air Force Base, Manado, on Wednesday (13/11/2013).
The third aircraft is scheduled to resume flights to the Philippines on Thursday (14/11/2013) morning. The grant is food, medicine, generators, and blankets with a total weight of 36.6 tons.
Indonesian government provide emergency assistance to the government of the Philippines for 2 million dollars, which consist of demand 1 million dollars and 1 million dollars in the form of goods and logistics. Total goods delivered as much as 75 tons.
6,000 relief goods such as food packages, 1,000 packages of side dishes, 21,000 additional package of nutrition, 500 blankets, 1,000 packages of clothing, 1,000 kidsware package, and 10 units of generator.
From the Ministry of Health is comprised of 10 lots of medicines and 500 packages of baby food companion. From the Ministry of Social Affairs in the form of 500 boxes of instant noodles, 1,000 food parcels, 1,000 packages of side dishes, and 1,000 packages of blankets
