Madison Co. Jail Opens to Visitors Before Being Put into Operation

Sheriff Blake Dorning allows visitors to explore Madison County Jail before it is put into operation. The jail is over 3 years late and 50 million USD over budget.

300 local Boy Scouts are to spend the night in the new jail and test out the facility Friday night (07/05/2010). The Scouts will be able to earn badges in law, fingerprinting, traffic safety, crime prevention and First Aid.
