The 91st Edition of the German radiology Congress has begun in Berlin. Special attention is on the new generations of professionals, and this is the main focus of the fair.
"The brightest minds for radiology". This is the motto of the 91st Roentgenkongress, the German radiology congress host in Berlin from May 12 to May 15. Seven thousands participants and all the most important companies from all around the world in the field of radiology have been meeting in the Berliner building of Messe Nord for the annual fair.
This year the German Radiology Society has sponsored a special program for involving into the program of the fair the new generations of medicine. The response to the initiative is enormous. 150 students of medicine responded at the invitation of their professors and institute and attended the conferences as well.
"The X-Conference is the largest German Congress of Radiology with over 500 lectures and training sessions an excellent opportunity for young professionals. We also offer to our 'brightest' minds a special program. We give them the possibility to make questions about professional development and scientific career answers. The various areas of specialization of our profession are also presented, "explains Prof. Dr. Walter Gross-Fengels (Asklepios Hospital Hamburg-Harburg).
