A delegation of representatives of the protesters delivered a letter to number 10 in which they called for an end to the economic siege of Gaza and demanded that Israel be held to account for breaches of international law.

Saturday was the 62nd anniversary of "Nakba" meaning "day of the catastrophe" which is an annual day of commemoration for the Palestinian people of the anniversary of the creation of Israel. The day marks the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their towns and villages in the face of Zionists militia and Israeli troop advances.
