Argentina's Bicentennial: "Gallery of Latinamericans patriots"

With presidents Lula da Silva of Brazil, Hugo Chavez Frias of Venezuela, Sebastián Piñera of Chile, Evo Morales of Bolivia, Fernando Lugo of Paraguay, Jose "Pepe" Mujica of Uruguay and Rafael Correa Delgado of Ecuador, the President of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, presented the new hall in the Government House. "We came to this Bicentennial much better than 100 years ago," said the head of state of Argentina in his speech.

This afternoon in the Government House, was inaugurated the "Gallery of Latinamericans patriots" showing images of 38 heroes and personalities of the continent, who donated the governments of the region.

The exhibition will remain permanently on the ground floor of the Casa Rosada. "The opening of this Gallery of Latinamericans patriots, it's a gesture of national government to ratify the Argentinian calling for further progress in Latinamerican integration", officials said.
