International Aerospace Exhibition and Conferences June 2010
ILA Air Show Berlin 2010 opened its doors on the 8th of June 2010. Invited by MTU Aeroengines it was a pleasure to join the Serbian Delegation, visiting the newest Cargo Military Airplane A400M - also called Grizzly One. Test flights have only started last december and the first airplanes will only be delivered to their respective countries from 2012 onward.
The A380 of the Emirates Airline is on display for visitors and official delegations, where by invitation of Airbus and EADS we were able to have a look around economy-, business- and first class. Top features of this excitingly luxurious airplane are the 2 on board showers, the bar and massage seats, which unfold into a fully flat bed.
ILA Air Show Berlin 2010 will be open until the 13th of June. Whereas the first 5 days the exibition is only open to trade and business professionals, saturday and sunday the fair grounds are open to the public and an excessive air show with airplanes of all kinds can be expected.
