The city of Bärnau, located in the administrative district of Tirschenreuth, was transformed to its past time this weekend, for the sixth time to celebrate the Middle Ages.

Groups from home and abroad: including travelling entertainers, knights and many more gathered to take part in this years celebrations.
They set up camp in front of the old town with genuine outfits, awaiting the concerts, exhibition fights,
and a procession through the old town of Bärnau.

Dozens of medieval huts were set up across the old town, tradesmen and grocers offered unusual
and exotic goods for the event. There were also craftsmen who showed the old arts and music groups who provided medieval music.
