Greek workers take to the streets once more

Between 8,000 and 10,000 striking trade unionists took to the streets in the northern port city of Thessaloniki in order to show their opposition to the recent austerity packages which they claim will plunge millions of Greeks into poverty. by allowing mass redundancies and by cutting pensions.
