Photographers gathered outside the Metropolitan Police Headquarters at New Scotland Yard as part of the campaign by the 'I'm a photographer not a terrorist' group to stop harassment of photographers.

This follows a number of cases where photographers have been stopped from photographing in public places by the police using stop and search powers under Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

The European Court of Human Rights last week rejected the governments appeal to its decision in January that ruled Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000 in breach of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
