South Sudanese living in Uganda held a peaceful march through the streets of Kampala demanding separation from northern Sudan.

As they matched,they chanted in support of unity, freedom and a new Sudan.They later said, their march was to gunner support from the international community to ensure the referendum is held peacefully without going into war.

Southern Sudanese have about six months to vote on the creation of an independent South Sudan.
