Mac Akasaka, real name, Makoto Tonami, campaigning for the upper house elections in Shibuya. He is president of Mac Corp, an operator of beauty salons that offer smile therapy and is the chairman of the "Smile Therapy Association Foundation." He is standing this election as the only candidate of the "Japan Smile Party" and can regularly be seen dancing and speaking to bemused crowds out of the sunroof of his white Rolls Royce all over Tokyo. Akasaka's policies call for the disbanding of Japan's Self Defence Forces and a lowering of the voting age among actions he believes will help bring about a much needed increase in the happiness of Japan's population.
