The region is celebrated for its corn flowers, a flower close to the heart of Vietnam appearing on much of their money. Apart from its abundant flowers, Dalat also produces arabica coffee, cabbages which treble in price by the time they reach their final destinations and strawberries. A veritable Eden of fruit, flowers and vegetables, Dalat supplies much of Vietnam whist producing sufficient surplus for foreign export.
