July 10, 2010, Costume players or 'Cosplay' artists dress up as their favorite Japanese 'anime' character, at the Megatrade hall in SM megamall, a major mall chain in the Philippines. as the 'Manga' comic art style genre stays healthy in the country. Asian cultures of Filipino and Japanese merge into each other. The subculture is fed on by the fellow countries increasing contact with each other with the rise of the youth's increasing buying power as well as influences on music art and pop-culture.
