Khmer Rouge cadre, "Duch" get 30 years

Khmer Rouge cadre, Kaing Guek Eav also known as "Duch" today received 30 years jail sentence for overseeing the executions of about 15,000 people at the infamous Tuol Sleng prison "S21" in Phnom Penh. Because of the time he has served, he'll be free in 19 years. Between the years of 1975-1979, men, women and children were detained and tortured in Toul Sleng before being transported to the killing fields of Cheung Ek, which is situated 15 kilometers south-west of Phnom Penh.
