Police quickly secured the area to prevent rioters from marching to the US embassy. The accident occurred on Bibi Mahro Road, a busy main road leading to the international airport and the US embassy. Police later issued a statement claiming that the occupants of the vehicles had fled the scene and an official investigation with US authorities was now underway.

Thank you very much. The New York TImes is now reporting that three people were killed and that the contractors involved in the accident were from DynCorp.
