The Presa de Navalcan (reservoir), in Castilla la Mancha, was constructed in 1977 with a capacity of 34 hm3 which today, 7 August 2010, stands at 30.40 hm3 or 91.18% capacity. The water is used for irrigation and water supply. It is also a popular location for fishing as a pastime.

However, the aesthetics of this idyllic spot is spoilt because of the disregard by some visitors to heed the notice not to leave rubbish behind.

The reservoir is at the foothill of the Gredos mountain range and is fed by the river Guadyerbas.
