Durham Crash Sends Two to Hospital

A pregnant mother is very lucky to escape with non life threatening injuries after her SUV is struck by a pickup truck in Durham, USA. The only thing keeping her SUV from rolling into a ravine and further injury was the ubiquitos guard rail. Mother and child were transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was treated on scene with minor injuries.
The scene is the sight of many accidents over the years due to limited sight at the intersection of three roads. No fatalies have yet to occur here. Local residents would like to see the State of Maine improve this section of State Rt 9.
