The Designers' Nest Award was created in 2003 as a professional and international platform for Nordic design graduates to show their talents. CPH Vision has made available a building at the fashion fair to seven Nordic design schools; Danmarks Designskole, Copenhagen; Designskolen, Kolding; TEKO, Herning; Beckmans Designskole, Stockholm; Swedish School of Textiles, Borås; University of Art and Design, Helsinki; and Iceland Academy of the Arts.
The award show was visited by the patron of Designers' Nest, HRH
Crown Princess Mary of Denmark of CPH Vision & Terminal-2. The winner of the Designers Nest Prize is Satu Maaranen from University of Art and Design Helsinki. The winner will also receive a cash prize in the amount of DKK 50,000.
