The 2nd Manipur International film festival starts - India

The 2nd Manipur international documentary, short and animation film festival started to day at the new building of Manipur film Development Corporation. All together, 27 films are screened in the 3 days extravaganza. Out of this, 14 films are international films which have won various awards in MIFF (Mumbai international film festival) which is organised by Films Division.

‘Vietnam Symphony’, a 52min film directed by Tom Zubrycki which won the 2nd best film award at MIIF 2006 was the opening film of the festival.

The film is organised by Films Division, Ministry of information and Broadcasting, Government of India in collaboration with Manipur film Development Corporation.
