Peace talks are to resume next week between Israel and the Palestinians in Washington DC under the wings of the American President, despite a one year freeze of building in the settlements declared by Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu last year a freeze that is due to end next week.

I have discovered that in reality there is no freeze on the ground and building is continuing as usual.
The U.S and the Palestinians are continuing to pressure Israel to continue with the freeze as part of the terms of new peace talks between the two.
