Pension Demonstration in Marseilles

Today was another day of action in France, all the unions called for a national strike and demonstration all across the country. The reason why? The French government, as part as their election program, wanted to reform the retirement benefit system, obviously not in favour of the workers. People went on strike and in the street to ask the government to withdraw their project.

Today in Marseille their was few thousand of people gathering here from all around the area for this protest march. A very peaceful and colourful protest which blocked the whole city centre for almost the entire day.
