The German Army (Bundeswehr) has the mission, in the confines of her UNIFIL work, to train and help the Lebanese Navy to protect their waters. The day started at 9 o'clock in the morning until 6pm in the evening. The ship was cast off in the port of Beirut and also landed there. The training day took place in the Lebanese waters, about 37 NM away from the shore.
The Bundeswehr invited six Lebanese Navy members to participate, while maneuvering, exercising, training how to use the radio properly for communication, and so on.
