Stop the War protestors scale scaffolding on House of Commons.

While attention was focused on a small three person demo at the gates to the House of Commons, two other demonstrators were making their way onto the scaffolding erected on the Commons itself.

The 'Hell's Grannies three' included Chris Knight, dressed as a grannie in pink dress, housecoat and blonde wig, with two other protesters with a banner proclaiming 'Make Tea Not War'. The two protesters on the scaffolding unfurled a couple of 'Troops Home' banners alongside a larger white banner made to look like a legal notice.

It quoted Section 6 Criminal Law Act 1977 as amended by Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994. The two protestors, one being Maria Gallastegui, have enough provisions to last a few days on the scaffolding.
