A small group had gathered in front on the Norwegian Parliament on 18 September 2010 to protest the Iranian regime's decision to stone Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani to death
As part of an international campaign to free Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani and protest against the Islamic Republic of Iran's use of stoning and flogging, a small group of exiled Iranians had gathered in front of the Norwegian Parliament in Oslo, Norway on Saturday 18 September 2010. The dramatic, yet quiet protest, included graphic elements, such as a blind-folded woman standig next to a mock gallows.
The protesters also collected signatures in a petition to free Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani and stop the Iranian regime's use of stoning and flogging.
