Entering and Leaving North Korea - And life there in between.
A compilation of photos taken entering and leaving North Korea with images of life with everyday North Koreans. Pyongyang, North Korea, 11-18/09/2010..
Photos include guard upon entering the airport and ending with our tour guide holding onto our passport until airport check-in upon leaving. The workers, the people, the scenery in the country is all taken - unedited - during a recent trip to the hermit Kingdom. And yes, bowling and billiards is a fun way for relaxing in the tense environment!
In addition, the military vehicles you see were during our second day in DPRK. These were lined up very early in the morning and rumour has it that these trucks brought the elite people of the Party to the Succession meeting that has only recently surfaced to our Western media. While the succession was so called report up-to-date, experience in the country show media to be highly edited before entering the outside world. Decide for yourself.
Please Note: The first photo you see is of a South Korean entering North Korea through a North Korean guard.
