Four Greenpeace protesters scaled the Treasury building today and unfurled a banner calling on Chancellor George Osborne to honour his promised on green issues and create a 'green bank.'
The protest comes the day before the Comprehensive Spending Review when the Coalition Government will detail the level of public expenditure cuts. Previously Greenpeace activists conducted a similar stunt at the House of Parliament,
After nine or so hours the protesters climbed down into the waiting arms of the police and were promptly arrested.
