A family of nomads lead a chain of camels carrying all their possessions downriver to new grazing land in north-western Mongolia. The cargo includes several gers - the traditional movable homes favoured by the country's rural nomads. A Mongol on horseback leads the way, testing the river for fords passable by the camels. It is slow progress, and the family will only be in their new home for a few weeks before moving again.
