The Grand Opening of the new Winco grocery store in Lacey, Washington today was greeted by throngs of shoppers.

The line extended around the corner of the large warehouse-like supermarket and into the parking lot near the store's loading dock.

Families, shoppers clutching discount coupons, and even a patient gentleman reading a paperback book while waiting, stood patiently to take advantage of the new store's special grand-opening bargains.

With Holidays on the way, and money tighter than ever for working folks, it seems that the new Winco is a hit in Lacey, Washington.
