Meghalaya - Lok Sabha 2009

Indigenous tribal people of Meghalaya state of northeast India exercised their electoral rights by casting their vote participating in the first phase of Lok Sabha Election 2009 at Ri-Bhoi district in West Khasi Hills of the state on Tursday, 16th April 2009. Meghalaya is having two (2) Lok Sabha constituencies, dominated by tribal population of north east India, including Khasi, Jaintia, Garo, Nepali and other indigenous tribes.
