38 years after Roe v Wade, a small but spirited (and at times profane) group of pro-choice activists protested the 7th annual Walk for Life. San Francisco, USA. 22/01/2011
On the 38th anniversary of Roe v Wade, the Bay Area Coalition for Our Reproductive Rights (BACORR) protested the 7th annual Walk for Life in San Francisco.
At least 210 buses brought thousands of anti-abortion activists, most from Catholic churches and organizations to San Francisco. Organizers estimated 40,000 participated.
The pro-choice activists held signs and banners (some provocative) and chanted. One woman was arrested by police.
