Lima is among the few South American Capitals built in front of the sea, and during the weekend its citizens invade its beaches. This photo essay highlights the life it brings. Lima, Peru. 23/01/2011
The beaches of Agua Dulce, Las Sombrillas, Los Yuyos Y Barranco are the most popular of the city, and thousand of people invade them during the summer weekends.
While the high society of the city goes to their beach houses in Asia, a summer resort 100 km south from Lima, people of middle and low classes invade the beaches of the Costa Verde boulevard with food, beer, umbrellas and music.
Here I show you a little sample of what you can see there on a usual sunday.
