Ninth anniversary of Shaker Aamer's detention on Guantanamo, Save Shaker Aamer Campaign (SSAC) holding a vigil opposite Downing Street. Shaker has endured nine years of inhuman treatment, victim of US abduction, torture, indefinite detention and forced separation from his family, in the so called 'war on terror' in Guantanamo and previously at Kandahar and Bagram, without even a charge, let along a trial. The campaigners appeal for Shaker, a London resident, to be released to rejoin his family again.
