Description:

In the lowest football amateur league division C of Rodopi region of Greece, two neighboring village teams, Dinami, and Filakas, met in derby game of the league. Despite both teams having already guaranteed their promotion to the higher B amateur league, they had plenty to play for.

Filakas, the group leaders, unbeaten throughout the season, were keen to preserve their record, and Dinami were eager to inflict the first defeat to their neighbors, and also to take the sweet revenge of their defeat in the hands of Filakas, in the first half of the season, with a score of 4-2.

At the end of the game, Dinami were the eventual winners, with a score of 2-1. The friendly rivalry between Dinami and Filakas is now set to continue in a higher league, next season.
