Palestinian demonstrators held candles and placards as they prepared to spend the night on the street during a rally in Gaza City, calling for an end to Palestinian divisions. Some 500 Palestinians, answering a rallying call on Facebook, demonstrated on Monday in Gaza's main square for reconciliation between Hamas Islamists who run the Gaza Strip and President Mahmoud Abbas's rival Fatah group. The placards read: "Enough with division".
