Description:

What an amazing night. PBS and a few hundred of their friends took over The Parish on 6th street Austin Texas as part of the SXSW festival. The live band, Trombone Shorty, had the crowed eating of of their hands with displays of musical brilliance and their versions of well known songs.

At one point the front man of Trombone Shorty held a single note on his trumpet for what seemed like 5 minutes, by using a technique called circular breathing. Just as you thought he was coming to the end, he continued for another 30 seconds, it was almost musical comedy.
