This was the biggest public demonstration since 2003, we took to the streets to voice our unhappiness with the government cut backs, one group called UK Uncut occupied many shops and establishments including Fortnum & Mason in protest at their unpaid corporation tax.
F&M alone owe in the region of 10 million pounds, which could be used to pay around 500 nurses. This was the reason for the various occupations and why certain businesses were targeted.
