Traditional Bangladesh Horse Race to Celebrate New Year

Traditional horse race is held in Village of Khasial Union of Narail district. Local people organized the event annually to celebrating Bangla New Year. One such horse race was held at Boramara village on 15 April 2011 to Celebrating Bangla New Year 1418 2nd Day of Bangla Calendar Month Boishakh. Narail, Bangladesh. 15/04/2011.
Several participants from different areas joined in with their horses. Hiru Mia’s Horse won the first prize this year. A village fair, including a cultural programme held on this occasion.
People in thousands from surrounding areas attended the race and cheered. Local entrepreneur UP Chairman Azadur Rahman Mithu and Organizer Barkat Ali gave away prizes to the winner of the race while.
