Hundreds perform Stations of the Cross - Mexico
Hundreds of parishioners joined with great faith and devotion in performing the annual stations of the cross, a re-enactment of the final stages in the life of Jesus of Nazareth before he was crucified.
Ecatepec, Mexico state 22/04/2011.- Very early Catholic churches in Mexico and as every year gathered to remember the ordeal experienced Jesus of Nazareth to be crucified.
With tears and fervor hundreds of residents of San Pedro Xalostoc in Ecatepec witnessed the representation of the ordeal and suffering that Jesus of Nazareth lived before giving his life to be crucified. Jesus of Nazareth, walk the streets of the upper part of this town celebrated with fervor and passion of Christ as well known.
Raul Tirado young native of this town, staged the role of Jesus of Nazareth, with the sun and the streets lead the way Jesus and his cross as Christ did, between the streets of this great performance was carried out utmost respect, after a long and heavy walking Raúl slopes under a cross with a weight of 70 Kilos, climbed the heavy streets to the hill which would be crucified.
Arriving with a weariness on his face Jesus uttered his last words before the eyes and the tears of his mother, Panting, heard Jesus say to one of the robbers who were crucified with him: "Jesus, remember me when you get into your kingdom ", to which he replied:"Today you are with me in paradise. "
"It is finished. Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit", the cry of some parishioners listened so enjoyed one of the highest and best representation of the Catholic faith in Mexico.
