A new fortnighly music magazine called Sound Off launched with a spectacular A. E. M party to the beat of RnB, Soulful and Funky House at MAYA night club in Dean Street.
Music acts featured a rapper from South Coast Lil Blak, gorgeous Katie Owen, Dean Raven, Desire Mcneish, Kosha and the best RnB group in the UK Rough Copy. DJs Tetchy and D Loose were playing R & B, Souful and Funky House.
A.E.M is an artist development and management company and publisher of Sound Off magazine, promising the latest news in music, events, fashion and gadgets.
"It is our mission to bring you music news, interviews with your favourite bands and reviews of the latest gigs and releases, along with the low-down on hot new artists, as well as familiar faces and gig listings for a great night out," - summed up the Sound Off editor Julia Collins.
I was very lucky to have got an exclusive interview with the one and only Desire Mcneish, who invited me to Sound Off magazine launch.
Desire Mcneish seems to be everywhere. Just a week ago he was entertaining as a DJ in Mare Moto restaurant and club in King's Road at the Liz Fuller and Ganjo VIP party. And now Desire has blown us away yet again with another string to add to his amazing bow of talents - a live PA set of three amazing rap, hip hop and dance tracks which he performed with precision, high octane and grace.
If that was not enough we then found out that he was also one of the Sound Off magazine's top TV presenters as well as sound engineer, video editor and the media manager.
Desire Mcneish says and I quote:
"I am very happy to be part of the Sound Off team, consisting of the owner Ricardo Omar with Nour Khalifeh and myself as TV presenters and a few journalist writers, sales team and graphic designers."
"I pray that the magazine goes from strength to strength with honesty, strong work ethic, good working relationships, love, peace, unity and exclusives, exclusives, exclusives!" - stated by Desire Mcneish at the Sound Off magazine launch.
He also has his debut single called Love Sensation out on the 24th May.
Desire Mcneish is the one to watch. With an array of talents and such a positive and refreshing aura we think this young man is definitely destined for success in entertainment industry.
I was very excited to meet the A. E. M owners Ricardo Wallace and Omer Dervish.
They stated: "We have some of the biggest exclusives to come and we are happy with tonight's turn out and the future of the brand. From our extensive market research, the public has been waiting for a free mainstream entertainment magazine to keep them up-to date with the music, gadget and entertainment scenes and that's just what we aim to provide."
To add, they both Ricardo and Omer said that the launch was a complete success and they were happy with the feedback from the preview issue and the team at A.E.M. And would like to say a special thanks to all the acts and people that attended the launch party.
The launch was filmed by Serenity Films and Urban TV for Sound Off magazine.
What a music journey!
