Elum Mountain, Pir Baba, Buner, Pakistan

Elum Mountain, almost 2800 meters high above sea level is the hostoric mountain. The moutains host lot of adventurous activities for hikers. There are scores of waterfalls, streams and lakes. The summit of the moutain attracts the hikers to move up and up.
The most beautiful and the prominent of the lakes in the mountain lap is Peryano dand (Ghost lake).
This mountain till recent times (early 2011) was under the control of terrorists and is recently cleared up by the Locals and army.
The locals of the area are very friendly and hospitable. Here are few photos of the majestic landscape of the Elum Mountain and Pir Baba valley.
