The flame for the Special Olympics Athens 2011 reached the city of Patras (the 3rd biggest city in Greece), where a ceremony was held at harbour.
Like the traditional way of the Special Olympics, the flame carried by members of the group LETR, namely Special Olympics athletes, torchbearers, and 150 police officers from around the world, who are representing their country, act as guards of the Flame Hope.
