Despite several clashes and extensive use of tear gases by iot police yesterday large crowds are once again expected to rally in Syntagma Square, opposite the Greek parliament to show their opposition to the latest round of austerity mesures being demanded by the nation's creditors in return for the latest bailout package.
In addition to large street protests the country is in the grip of a 48 hour strike which has closed down much of its infrastructure.
