Black keys performs live at the Quebec Summer Festival

Made up of Dan Auerbach on vocals and guitar and Patrick Carney on drums, this American blues rock duo won three Grammy Awards in February, including Best Alternative Music Album for Brothers, released in May 2010, and Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group with Vocals for Tighten Up.

The Black Keys released their debut album, The Big Come Up, in 2002 but it was with Thickfreakness, recorded just one year later, that they really burst onto the world scene.
