Students and workers marched against the right-wing government of Sebastián Piñera's. It is estimated that over 20,000 people participated.

En Valparaíso, se efectuó una nueva marcha de estudiantes y trabajadores contra el Gobierno de derecha de Sebastián Piñera. Se estima que participaron más de 20.000 personas, entre estudiantes, profesores, trabajadores portuarios, mineros y empleados públicos. Además de las demandas estudiantiles por la educación gratuita se protestó contra las medidas del Gobierno respecto a las ciudades "puerto", que provocarán despidos de trabajadores. A esta jornada de protesta se le llamó "el porteñazo".
