22nd of July, marks the 6th anniversary of the killing of Jean Charles de Menezes by police officers in 2005 after being mistaken for a terrorist connected to attempted bombings on 21 July. A colourful mosaic was created by local artist, Mary Edwards and a memorial was unveiled on Thursday 7 January 2010 at Stockwell Station where he died.
