A young boy and his mother left in tears after an altercation with nervous police. The hearse bearing the president's body made it's with way through crowds of mourners. Defiant citizens staged a non-violent sit-in in Seoul Plaza and the surrounding streets. The Plaza, one of the few open spaces in downtown Seoul had been closed to the public for the week leading up to Roh Moo-hyun's funeral due to fear of potential riots.
