Ska Cubana got the crowds at Canada Square dancing and singing when they got on stage at 8.30 for the canary Wharf Jazz festival.
The London-based group composed of artist of different nationalities combines ska and Cuban music such as son and mambo.
The Canary Wharf Jazz festival runs from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th August.
Canary Wharf Jazz festival 2001 lineup:
Friday: Femi Temowo, Ska Cubano.
Saturday: Cousin Alice and the Boisdale Blue Rhythm Band, Aquarium, Gwyneth Herbert, Cuban Combination, The Herbaliser and James Morton.
Sunday: Kit Downes Sextet, Grupo X, Sarah Gillespie Quartet featuring Gilad Atzmon, Jay Phelps Big Band with Clare Teal.
