Give Our Kids a Future march peacefully crowds the streets of London

The North London Assembly held a march and demonstration today in response to the recent London riots.
The North London Assembly consists of the many communities in the north London and the march represented a call for unity peace and a future for their children.
Over 1000 demonstrators marched from Gillet Square, Dalston in Hackney, to Tottenham Green in Haringey
The organisers called for a culture of valuing, rather than demonising, young and unemployed people. As a youth charity worker pointed out, 'kids with hope don't riot'.
They also called for help for the victims of the riots with immediate re housing of those made homeless and help for affected businesses.
The march was reported to also be in protest over the killing of Mark Duggan and the riots that followed in Tottenham and Hackney.
