Funeral prayers took place for at least three police personnel killed in Korangi, after which their bodies were then dispatched to their hometowns. The officers were among six killed in an ambush on their bus. Pakistan. 20th August 2011

The collective funeral prayers for the police personnel were offered At Garden Police Headquarters. Bodies have been dispatched towards their native areas in Interior Sindh, where they would be laid to rest. These three police among nine six were killed when their van was ambushed in Korangi area of Chakra Goth while they were moving in to stop an exchange of fire between two armed factions in the area.
